Abstract

A new version of the book on the scientific aspects of protein-energy malnutrition which does not overlap the social, economic and political aspects. Every developing country realizes the dangers of PEM in its present and future preventative planning against disease. This book outlines ways of preventing PEM and the clinical management of the disease where it occurs.
