SUMMARY An aflatoxin diet (0.5 ppm B1 activity) had no effect on the mortality of turkey poults exposed to spores of Aspergillus fumigatus or significantly affected histopathologic lesions. Depression of weight gains from aflatoxin alone was not affected by exposure to A. fumigatus. Aflatoxin alone caused a decrease in total serum protein, a- and 3-globulin, and albumin, and an increase in y-globulin; aflatoxin plus A. fumigatus caused an increase in y-globulin and a decrease in albumin levels. A. fumigatus alone caused an increase in total protein.
