Ionophore Toxicity in Turkey Breeders

Abstract

SUMMARY Monensin and salinomycin in feed at below normal use levels for chickens caused mortality and clinical signs in adult turkeys but not in growing turkeys. Mortality ranged from 1.1 to 96.7% over a 2-year period.
