Abstract

Front line demonstration conducted in the farmer's on the response of groundnut to the application of multi micronutrients to soil and also as seed treatment indicated that the soil application of Zn 5 kg ha−1 + B 1.0 kg ha−1 + S 40 kg ha−1 significantly increased the pod yield to the tune of 24.2% for TMV 7 and 14.8% for JL 24 over control. Inclusion of Mo did not show any significant effect on pod yield of groundnut. Seed treatment was less effective than soil application. Similar trend of results was observed with nutrient uptake.
