Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the change in practice of physical therapists after a continuing education program. This experimentally-designed study used three methods to document change: self-report, record audit, and direct observation. The self-reporting method revealed a significant change of practice (p less than .01) by the physical therapists. The change was significant at two weeks after and at six months after the continuing education program.
