Phytochemical characteristics and hypoglycaemic activity of fraction from mushroom <i>Inonotus obliquus</i>

Abstract

EAFI showed significant antihyperglycaemic and antilipidperoxidative effects in alloxan-induced diabetic mice. Terpenoid and sterol compounds appeared to be the major active constituents of I. obliquus.
