Abstract

Numerous studies have reviewed the structure and function of the fish gut in relation to the diet As the gut microbiota has not been included in these papers, a more specific discussion is needed. Therefore, the main objective of the present review was to summarize the available information regarding the effect of dietary components on the gastrointestinal (GI) microbiota of fish.
