Besides the age, exclusive breastfeeding was also effective on stool frequency. It points out that infants who are fed with formula in addition to breastfeeding may defecate less than once per day hence should not be diagnosed as having constipation depending solely on defecation frequency and should not receive unneccesary treatments.
