ABSTRACT Thin-layer drying rates of rapeseed were experimentally determined at eight levels of drying air temperature, four in the conventional drying temperature range of 50-93 C and four in the elevated temperature range of up to 200 C. A mathematical model of the form of Page's equation was developed. The model predicted the moisture ratios well at the conventional as well as elevated drying temperatures
