The Expression of a Type II Transmembrane Serine Protease (Seprase) in Human Gastric Carcinoma

Abstract

Our studies showed the unique expression and localization of seprase in the tumor and stromal cells within human gastric carcinoma but not in normal tissues, suggesting a role of seprase in the invasive and metastatic progression of gastric carcinoma.
