A 59-year-old woman was referred to our hospital by her gynaecologist because of progressive jaundice. She had been diagnosed as having left-sided breast cancer 18 months ago. Two months before admission, she had started chemotherapy with intravenous paclitaxel (90 mg/m2) and bevacizumab (10 mg/kg). [Fig. 1] summarizes the patient's treatments and results of the liver function tests (LFTs).
