Solubility of Calcium Sulfate Hydrates in (0 to 3.5) mol·kg^-1 Sulfuric Acid Solutions at 100 °C

Abstract

Solubilities of calcium sulfate hemihydrate in the low-concentration range from (0 to 3.5) mol·kg -1 (equivalent to mol·kg -1 H 2 O) of sulfuric acid solutions at 100 °C (373 K) were measured. The measured solubilities were compared with available literature studies and simulated with empirical equations.
