Abstract

It is predicted that the increased adult enrollment in higher education institutions will continue. Thus, colleges and universities are faced with special challenges from the emerging recognition of adult students. The purpose of this descriptive, exploratory study was to examine how over‐thirty undergraduate students perceived their experiences of returning to college. From learning about adults and their experiences, an assessment of their needs for student personnel services and educational programs was made.
