13C NMR Spectroscopy. Substituent Effects in the Ethyl <i>trans</i>-2-Substituted Cyclopropanecarboxylates

Abstract 13CFT NMR spectra have been obtained for ethyl trans-2-substituted cyclopropanecarboxylates. The chemical shifts have been compared with those of saturated and unsaturated compounds and with substituent constants. The chemical shifts of the methylene carbon of the ethyl group have been correlated linearly with σm.
