Programming course is a fundamental and compulsory course in Information Technology field such as Informatics and Computer Science department. But many undergraduate students face difficulties to comprehend the basic concept of logic and algorithm in programming. Programming course is normally taught in classroom and also by using e-learning. But e-learning based on LMS (Learning Management System), for example Moodle, is too general to be used in learning introductory programming. Therefore, this research introduces an alternative e-learning that includes interactive multimedia to help undergraduate students learn introductory programming. The application will provide interactivity between students and application so that students can learn independently. User only needs web-browser to open the application in computer or tablet which is connected to the internet. The course materials are divided into three category, they are multimedia video, image and program code. The application will give result on the same window as where user do exercise or type program code. The course material will have many videos and one video is limited to less than 5 minutes length to ensure faster downloading and opening video.
