Waveform Tomography

Waveform Tomography is a seismic imaging method that belongs to the class of full-waveform inversion techniques, distinguished by its use of complete seismic waveforms—including amplitude, phase, and frequency information—to reconstruct high-resolution models of Earth's subsurface structure through iterative minimization of misfits between observed and synthetic seismograms.
