Visibility Index Mapping

Visibility Index Mapping is a spatial analytical method that quantifies and visualizes the degree of visibility across a landscape by assigning index values to locations based on their observable extent from one or more vantage points, distinguishing it from other viewshed techniques through its emphasis on cumulative visibility measurement rather than binary visibility classification.
