Type-2 Fuzzy Sets

Type-2 Fuzzy Sets is a fuzzy set theory construct in which the membership function itself is characterized by fuzzy uncertainty, extending Type-1 Fuzzy Sets by allowing membership degrees to be fuzzy subsets of the unit interval, thereby enabling more robust modeling of uncertainty in expert systems and linguistic reasoning.
