Transmissibility

Transmissibility is a dimensionless metric in mechanical vibrations that quantifies the ratio of the transmitted force or displacement response of a system to the imposed base excitation, distinguishing it from related dynamic response measures by specifically characterizing the effectiveness of vibration isolation in single-degree-of-freedom systems.
