Translanguaging

**Translanguaging** is a sociolinguistic theory and pedagogical approach in bilingual education and multiliteracies that conceptualizes multilingual speakers’ language use as a single, integrated repertoire and deliberately mobilizes their full, fluid linguistic resources—across and beyond named language boundaries—for meaning-making, communication, and learning.
