Tmem16-dependent Externalization
TMEM16-Dependent Externalization is a biological mechanism of phosphatidylserine externalization that specifically relies on the activity of TMEM16 family scramblase proteins to facilitate the calcium-dependent translocation of phosphatidylserine from the inner to the outer leaflet of the plasma membrane.
