Thermal Resistance

Thermal Resistance is the property of a material or assembly that quantifies its opposition to steady-state heat flow per unit area, defined as the temperature difference across a structure divided by the heat flux through it, distinguishing it from related thermal properties by its direct correspondence to the rate of conductive heat transfer under equilibrium conditions.
