About

Technology co-optimization is a research field and methodological approach centered on the concurrent investigation and optimization of technological parameters and system-level design choices. It analyzes the complex interdependencies and trade-offs across multiple abstraction layers, from material and device characteristics to circuit, architecture, and system-level performance metrics such as power, area, cost, and reliability, to enable the design and realization of advanced, highly integrated, and efficient systems and heterogeneous platforms.
