Surface Shading

Surface Shading is a computational rendering technique within photorealistic visualization that determines the color and brightness of a surface at each point by modeling the interaction of light with surface materials, distinguished from other shading methods through its emphasis on accurately simulating local illumination effects such as diffuse reflection, specular highlights, and surface normals.
