Surface Effect Modeling

Surface Effect Modeling is a computational modeling approach in MEMS that specifically accounts for the influence of surface and interface phenomena—such as surface stress, adsorption, and interfacial forces—on the mechanical, electrical, and dynamic behavior of microscale structures, distinguishing it from bulk or volume-dominated modeling frameworks.
