Student-Led Conferences is an assessment practice in which students assume primary responsibility for facilitating and leading discussions about their academic progress and learning goals with teachers and parents, thereby distinguishing it from traditional teacher-centered conferencing models by centering student voice, self-reflection, and agency in the evaluation process.
