Structural Fragmentation
Structural Fragmentation is a scholarly analytical framework that identifies and examines discrete, paper-level contributions—such as methods, models, frameworks, theories, constructs, datasets, tasks, or metrics—within a research domain by delineating their hierarchical relationship to a parent topic and revealing how such components are organizationally segmented within the scientific literature.
