Snare Complex Disassembly

SNARE Complex Disassembly is a molecular mechanism in vesicle fusion that mediates the dissociation of cis-SNARE complexes into individual SNARE proteins through the ATP-dependent action of the AAA+ ATPase NSF and its cofactor α-SNAP, thereby enabling SNARE recycling for subsequent rounds of membrane fusion.
