Scale-down
Scale-Down is a methodological framework in bioprocess engineering that belongs to the class of scale-up/scale-down techniques, distinguished by its focus on creating representative small-scale models of large-scale bioreactor systems—particularly single-use or stirred-tank bioreactors—to predict and analyze critical process performance attributes under controlled experimental conditions.
