Protein Function Profiling

Protein Function Profiling is a systematic analytical approach within proteomics that, by leveraging protein microarray technology, enables the high-throughput identification and characterization of functional attributes of proteins, such as enzymatic activity, binding specificity, and post-translational modifications, thereby distinguishing it from mere protein detection or expression analysis.
