Plerixafor Mobilization
Plerixafor Mobilization is a pharmacological stem cell mobilization strategy that involves the administration of plerixafor, a CXCR4 chemokine receptor antagonist, to disrupt the SDF-1α/CXCR4 axis and enhance the release of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells from the bone marrow niche into peripheral circulation for subsequent apheresis collection.
