Planar Optical Waveguides
Planar Optical Waveguide is a type of optical waveguide characterized by its flat, layered structure, in which light is confined and guided in a thin-film dielectric layer sandwiched between cladding layers with lower refractive indices, enabling propagation along a two-dimensional plane.
