Performer-computer Interaction

Performer-Computer Interaction is a scholarly construct within sensor-based performance that denotes the real-time, bidirectional exchange of signals and actions between a human performer and a computational system, mediated through sensors, wherein the performer’s physical gestures dynamically influence system outputs and, in turn, the system’s responses shape the performer’s subsequent expressive behavior.
