Neural Mass Models
Neural Mass Models is a type of mathematical framework in computational neuroscience that models the average electrical activity of large populations of neurons by describing their collective dynamics through mean-field approximations, distinguishing it from single-neuron or detailed network models by focusing on macroscopic, population-level behavior.
