Monocyte Trafficking
Monocyte Trafficking is a biological process whereby monocytes migrate from the bloodstream to sites of inflammation or tissue injury through a series of coordinated interactions with vascular endothelial cells, distinguished by its reliance on chemotactic signals and adhesion molecules that regulate transendothelial movement in the context of immune surveillance and inflammatory response modulation.
