Intersection Negotiation is a behavioral planning construct that specifies the decision-making process by which an autonomous agent systematically coordinates its motion and right-of-way actions when traversing an intersection in the presence of other agents, distinguished from other navigation tasks by its focus on spatiotemporal conflict resolution in shared, signalized or uncontrolled junction environments.
