Internal Strengthening
Internal Strengthening is a type of structural reinforcement method in civil engineering that enhances the load-carrying capacity of a bridge by modifying or upgrading its existing internal components, such as prestressing tendons, reinforcing steel, or concrete sections, thereby distinguishing it from external strengthening techniques that apply supplementary systems to the surface or exterior of structural elements.
