Incidence Density Sampling

Incidence Density Sampling is a method of selecting controls in a matched case-control study such that each control is sampled from the at-risk population at the time of the case’s event occurrence, ensuring controls contribute person-time only until they become cases or are censored, thereby mimicking cohort-based incidence density.
