Homeostatic Interactions

Homeostatic Interactions is a theoretical construct in systems neuroscience that refers to the dynamic regulatory mechanisms through which neural components reciprocally adjust their functional properties to maintain stable network activity in response to perturbations, distinguishing it from other forms of neural plasticity by its emphasis on bidirectional, compensatory feedback loops that preserve physiological equilibrium.
