Food Aid

Food Aid is a form of food-based assistance that consists of the transfer of in-kind food commodities, or financial resources specifically earmarked for their purchase, from public or charitable donors to food-insecure populations—often across national borders—with the primary aim of preventing hunger and malnutrition in emergency and development contexts.
