Foam Decay

Foam Decay is a physicochemical process in foam-assisted recovery mechanisms that denotes the temporal deterioration of foam structure and stability within porous media due to the breakdown of lamellae, governed by mechanisms such as coalescence, disproportionation, and liquid drainage, distinguishing it from other foam behavior phenomena by its irreversible loss of foam integrity and mobility control capacity.
