Fc Effector Profiling

Fc Effector Profiling is a methodological framework in immunology that characterizes the functional capacity of the Fc region of antibodies to engage effector mechanisms such as antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity, phagocytosis, and complement activation, thereby distinguishing it from other antibody profiling approaches by its specific focus on Fc-mediated downstream immune activities.
