Design Efficiency
Design Efficiency is a methodological metric that quantifies the relative precision of a given experimental design by comparing the variance of treatment effect estimates to that of a reference design, typically under a completely randomized or split-plot structure, thereby distinguishing it by its capacity to optimize statistical power and resource allocation in experimental research.
