Deductive Thematic Analysis

Deductive Thematic Analysis is a methodological approach within thematic analysis that, as a distinct paper-level contribution, employs a pre-established framework or theoretical template to systematically identify, organize, and offer insight into patterns of meaning, thereby distinguishing itself from inductive variants through its reliance on researcher-driven, a priori coding schemes derived from existing theory or research objectives.
