Context-dependent Signaling

Context-Dependent Signaling is a signaling mechanism in cellular biology whereby the functional outcome of a signaling pathway is determined by the specific cellular environment, including cell type, developmental stage, concurrent signaling inputs, and spatial-temporal dynamics, thereby enabling distinct physiological responses from the same molecular components under differing conditions.
