Consent-based Intervention
Consent-Based Intervention is a modality of interstate military intervention in which a state or international organization deploys armed force on the territory of another state pursuant to that state’s valid and continuing consent, thereby distinguishing it from unilateral or coercive uses of force that would otherwise breach the principles of sovereignty, non-intervention, and the prohibition on the use of force.
