Barometric Measurement

Barometric Measurement is a method in fluid statics that determines atmospheric pressure by measuring the height of a column of mercury or another liquid in a sealed tube inverted in a reservoir of the same liquid, distinguishing it from other pressure measurement techniques through its reliance on hydrostatic equilibrium and the weight of the liquid column.
