Authentic Feedback is a form of evaluative input within formative assessment that, as a distinct methodological construct, is characterized by its grounding in real-world tasks, meaningful context, and alignment with learners’ actual performance, thereby differentiating it from artificial or decontextualized feedback by fostering genuine reflection and transferable learning.
