Atp7a Function

ATP7A Function is a molecular biology construct that denotes the specific role of the ATP7A copper-transporting ATPase in mediating intracellular copper homeostasis by facilitating copper translocation across cellular membranes, particularly from the cytosol into the trans-Golgi network and across the blood-brain barrier, thereby enabling copper-dependent enzyme activation and systemic copper distribution.
