Atomic Model Building

Atomic Model Building is the computational and interpretive process of constructing a three-dimensional representation of a macromolecular structure at atomic resolution, distinguished from other structural determination methods by its reliance on experimental data fitting and stereochemical constraints to assign precise atomic coordinates within a defined electron density or cryo-EM map.
